The English giant, Chelsea are set to bid for Barcelona star Pedro, Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez and Marseille high-rated youngster Giannelli Imbula. According to recent buzz, all three players are heavily linked with Chelsea transfer rumours.
The Blues are preparing a suitable bid for Barcelona forward Pedro which is reportedly £22 million, according to El Mundo Deportivo. Chelsea boss Mourinho is interested in the Spain international and will try to bolster his attacking options by bringing the forward at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season.
Pedro has lost his place in the first eleven as the new trio consisted of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez is performing ravishingly this season. The Spaniard has been ignored so far, especially after the arrival of the Uruguayan striker. Barca head coach Luis Enrique has used Suarez in the right flank and the left flank has already been preoccupied by Neymar, which makes it clear that Pedro will find it difficult to get a position back in the squad.
Pedro has appeared in 42 matches this season for Barcelona in which he has been subbed 22 times and managed to start the play in 20 matches. In his 1,291 minutes of LaLiga appearances, he has netted the ball five times and provided another five assists, which indicates that he has made his coach happy in every 129 minutes.
The 27-year-old has shown his quality in every given opportunity which is tempting for any trophy-hungry club.
Though Pedro will face competition from Eden Hazard, Willian and Juan Cuadrado to secure a place in the starting eleven at Stamford Bridge, his present discomfort regarding his short period on the pitch has put him in the list of Chelsea transfer rumours.
Chelsea are planning to table a £15 million bid for Real Madrid’s gifted young prospect Jese Rodriguez this summer.
The Blues head coach Mourinho has been an admirer of the young Spaniard, who managed to impress him with his exceptional technical abilities, as per AS.
Jese has missed the greater part of this season due to a serious knee injury, but after making a comeback, he has become disappointed for not getting regular first team action and recently he has been linked with several interested clubs.
However, Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti wants the Spaniard to stay at Barnabeu, according to Marca.
“I talk to Jese the same as I do with everybody. I know he wants to play more, but he has to be patient as his chance could come just as it has for Chicharito. Jese is staying since he is an essential player.”
The 22-year-old has started the play in just one match since the beginning of 2015. As Hazard is winning the PFA Player of the year award at the age of 24, Jese definitely needs more time on the pitch to develop his career.
Chelsea are considering about a £20 million bid for Marseille youngster Giannelli Imbula, according to The Sun.
The box-to-box midfielder has the ability of tough-tackling and producing neat passes. Mourinho might use Imbula as a deep lying midfielder instead of Kurt Zouma. He will probably share the pitch with Nemanja Matic whenever Chelsea need to neutralize the opponents forwards at the halfway line.
Chelsea are at the top of the league table and on the verge of winning this year’s Premier League title. The Special One, Mourinho, will try to lure his summer targets with the league trophy to bolster his squad to begin an era of triumph which is alluding that more players will be part of Chelsea transfer rumours.
